Cleaning Techniques

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 5:11 pm

With so much information out there, it can sometimes be difficult to think of where to start when learning to clean effectively. I think that really, the best way to learn is just to break everything into smaller chunks. Don’t get too far ahead of yourself, just pick a problem and look for a solution that you can apply right away. There’s really no point in filling your head with information you’ll never use. But if you really just need information right away, here’s a starting point for you.

  • Don’t use harsh soaps, ammonia , hot water or washing soda on silver or gold-rimmed glasses.
  • Vinyl flooring should be cleaned using a mild soap and allow it some time to let it eat away all the dirt that’s deeply ground in.
  • Clean the toilet bowl while you’re away by simply pouring about half a cup of bleach and leaving it until you return.
  • Use an eraser on black heel marks and clean them from floors.
  • If hard water stains develop on your glasses, rub them with a scouring pad that you’ve soaked using vinegar.

Hopefully, you find these tips useful. Go out right now and practice them so you can see how they work in real life. If you know someone that’s looking for a professional cleaner, I want to hear from you. So if you need to, we’d love for you to reach the sales team our cleaner company.

Difficult to clean surfaces

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 5:01 pm

I just came from cleaning the home of one of our customers. We’ve been cleaning this guy’s office for a few years now, and now he’s just purchased a beautiful new house that we’ve been asked to clean. This guy is a total neat freak, and his place really suits his personality. Everything is either flat black, flat white, or transparent.

It looks really beautiful, but in the end, it’s a nightmare to clean. The flat colors exaggerate every little speck of dirt, causing the place to be constantly cleaners. Very high maintenance.

Here are some more cleaning tips for today.

  • Disinfectant can be used to clean nearly everything in your bathroom except the mirror.
  • For fresh drains, pour 500ml of baking soda down your sink, and then 1/3 cup of vinegar. Cover drain tightly for a few minutes and flush with cold water.
  • Try to hide a squeegee near your shower and you can simply wipe the water out when you’re done cleaning(if you have milder, try this tip).
  • As a tip for avoiding rings in your bathtub, make sure to use water softener if you live in a home with hard water problems. Immediately after taking a bath, rinse the tub.
  • We recommend that you keep a bottle of household cleaner and a cleaning sponge in the guest bath so you can sneak away and clean up when unexpected company shows up.

Hopefully, you find these tips going to stay with you forever. Take a moment and see for yourself how they work until you get it down pat. If you know someone that’s looking for a cleaning pro, I want to hear from you. So if you need to, we’d love for you to reach our company at our Toronto commercial cleaners head office.
